New pioneering technology is set to revolutionize the global insurance market.
Value.Space – previously known as Sille Space – has chosen the UK as its base for expansion following a major rebrand.
Now the company will use its satellite-based technology to enhance how the worldwide insurance industry and public sector assess and protect critical national infrastructure.
Using high-tech radar technology from the European Space Agency, Value.Space provides millimetre-level accuracy assessments – identifying previously undetected deformations which can signal potential infrastructure failure.
Value.Space was co-founded by entrepreneurs Reijo Pold and Agu Leinfeld who met while working at software giant Datel. The company’s SpaceTech department initially developed the core technology before the pair added their insurance-specific solution.
Reijo Pold comments: “We already work with several tier-one insurers internationally and aim to increase this over the coming months.
“Being ten times faster, 25 times more cost effective, and conducted 100% remotely, our assessments play a crucial role in helping insurers with their risk analysis of infrastructure sites to inform their underwriting decisions.”
